Life Imitating Art
Sure, sure. I know. It's the nature of technological advancement that necessitates the shrinking of every conceiveable gadget. But just for fun, I had to highlight Apple's latest release of the iPod Shuffle. Yes, it's tiny. But under the shadow of the SNL Steve Jobs product announcement spoof from last fall, it's downright hysterical. I'm just waiting for the pequeño to arrive at my local store.

My son said one of his friends at school had one of these ipods and I thought maybe he had mistaken it for another mp3 player of some kind as I did not know that the shuffle was made smaller. What will they think of next??? Thanks for the spoof and the info.
I love the SNL spoof. Thanks for sharing. I have been an Apple brand lover for close to 10 years. Everytime I buy something, I feel like it is obsolete within weeks. I love their products, but sometimes I feel like they change things too fast. I guess it works because I keep buying more.
The spoof is bitingly funny only because it is so true. I haven't bought a single Apple product without feeling that punch in the gut when the "better, faster, smarter" version comes out the next week. What a brilliant marketing strategy they've created.
I'm sure I am totally supporting Apple with all the stuff I've purchases from them. I have 4 kids...they saw me coming.
