Schwarzenegger Would Be Proud
There are only so many ways to sell hair care products. But this is a compelling visual campaign even Arnold ("Ahh-nald") would appreciate. To communicate that the product strengthens hair, healthy strands are braided (or Photoshopped) to look like a muscle-bound arm flexing. Notice that the ad contains as few words as possible. Great design can achieve many things. In this case, a very effective advert that also shows us the product packaging and end result in one glance. Simple. Brilliant.[Via Back In Skinny Jeans]

These types of ads always remind me of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the famous architect and advocate of simplicity, who said "less is more."
A picture is surely worth a thousand words.
Thanks for sharing.
Mies needs no introduction, Scott. I agree with your observation. For years I had an Einstein quote above my Mac as inspiration: "Simplicity is the essence of brilliance."
The mantra still drives my design aesthetic today. Sometimes less truly is more. Thanks for your thoughts!
